Hawaii medical license cme requirements

Kentucky CME/CE Requirements

(3) hour domestic violence training course within 3 years of initial licensure, for primary care physicians;
(4.5) hours relating to the use of KASPER, pain management, addiction disorders, or a combination of two or more those (must be Board approved; for controlled substance prescribers);
(12) hours related to addiction medicine (for those authorized to prescribe or administer Buprenorphine-Mono-Product or Buprenorphine-Combined-with-Naloxone; must be Board approved);
(1.5) hours on the recognition and prevention of pediatric abusive head trauma (one-time requirement within 5 years of licensure for pediatricians, radiologists, family practitioners, and emergency medicine and urgent care physicians; must be Board approved).

(8) hours on treating and managing patients with opioid or other substance use disorders, including the appropriate clinical use of all FDA-approved drugs for the treatment of a substance use disorder. This is a one-time requirement for all DEA-registered practitioners (with the exception of DVM-only license holders), beginning with DEA initial or renewal registrations starting June 27, 2023.

(5) pharmacology contact hours, and (1.5) of these must be in the dual subject of pharmacology and either pain management, or addiction disorders;
(4) hours on addiction disorders;
(3) hours on domestic violence, and elder abuse, neglect and exploitation on adult and child victims (within 3 years of licensure);
(1.5) hours on the recognition and prevention of pediatric abusive head trauma (within 3 years of licensure);
(2) hours on suicide prevention (within 3 years of licensure).

(8) hours on treating and managing patients with opioid or other substance use disorders, including the appropriate clinical use of all FDA-approved drugs for the treatment of a substance use disorder. This is a one-time requirement for all DEA-registered practitioners (with the exception of DVM-only license holders), beginning with DEA initial or renewal registrations starting June 27, 2023.

(12) hours related to addiction medicine (for those authorized to prescribe or administer Buprenorphine-Mono-Product or Buprenorphine-Combined-with-Naloxone; must be Board-approved);
(7.5) hours relating to: a. controlled substance diversion; b. pain management; c. addiction disorders; d. the use of KASPER; or e. any combination of two or more of these subjects (must be Board-approved);
(1.5) hours on the recognition and prevention of pediatric abusive head trauma (one-time requirement within the first 2 years of initial licensure; must be Board-approved);
(1) hour on human immunodeficiency virus and acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (one-time requirement within the first 2 years of initial licensure).

(8) hours on treating and managing patients with opioid or other substance use disorders, including the appropriate clinical use of all FDA-approved drugs for the treatment of a substance use disorder. This is a one-time requirement for all DEA-registered practitioners (with the exception of DVM-only license holders), beginning with DEA initial or renewal registrations starting June 27, 2023.
