This session will provide an overview of the significant social drivers of health disparities, including education, employment, income, crime, and more, as they relate to stressors that impact many patients' health. We will then look at the physiology of stress and discuss ways to reduce its harmful effects. We will also look at the demographics of mental illnesses across races and ethnicities and consider perspectives on the differences noted.
