Dr. Darien Sutton is a board-certified emergency medicine physician with experience in New York and Los Angeles ERs. A dual graduate of NYU, he earned his MD from the School of Medicine and an MBA from the Stern School of Business. Recognized with awards like the Academic Excellence in Emergency Medicine and the American Medical Association National Scholar Award, Dr. Sutton has also built a following of over two million on social media by addressing key health issues. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he served as a network medical contributor, reporting on topics such as the coronavirus, medical advancements, and healthcare disparities. Since September 2023, he has been a Medical Correspondent for ABC News, contributing across all programs and platforms from New York City.
