Biography

Dr. Young is an assistant professor of Pediatrics at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He is also currently an attending hematologist at the Children's Hospital of Orange County and the Director of Hemostasis/Thrombosis at Mattel Children's Hospital. Dr. Young's clinical and research emphasis is on disorders of coagulation in children and he is involved in a variety of clinical trials for thrombosis, including the investigation of genetic risk factors and the investigation of novel therapies for its treatment.
