Biography

Maggie White, FNP, has 13 years of experience in community health and HIV primary care and research. Her clinical interests in addition to HIV include HCV, sexual health, and gender-affirming care. Currently an HIV Specialist at Wellness Bar by Legacy, Maggie has shown an unwavering commitment to providing high-quality, personalized care throughout her career, which aligns with Wellness Bar by Legacy’s dedication to focusing on each individual and what they need to feel affirmed and empowered to take charge of their health and wellness. Maggie earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from The University of Texas at Austin. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. In addition, she holds a master of public health degree from The University of Texas School of Public Health in Dallas and is certified by the American Academy of HIV Medicine as an HIV specialist. Maggie is a Houston native and a veteran of the United States Army.
