Biography

Dr. “A” Thambundit earned her medical degree at University of Florida College of Medicine where she also did her Pediatrics residency. She received her Pediatric Endocrinology fellowship training at UCLA and stayed on as faculty. She currently provides care for children with endocrine disorders including growth, puberty, thyroid, obesity, diabetes, and bone metabolism at UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital and Miller Children’s Hospital, Long Beach. She is part of the UCLA 22q syndrome multidisciplinary clinic. She has been active in diabetes camp since medical school and continues to be active in the type 1 diabetes community.
