Biography
A graduate of Brandeis University, Dr. Tenenbaum switched from Physical Chemistry to Medicine and completed his medical studies at Harvard Medical School. He trained in internal medicine at Presbyterian Hospital in New York and in Cardiology at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in New York. He joined the faculty of the Department of Medicine of Columbia University after training and has remained there since. His practice has focused on critical care cardiology. Preventative cardiology, ischemic heart disease, and valvular heart disease. He has served as Clinical Dean of the Medical School. Currently, he is Program Director of the Internal Medicine training Program and is the Chief of the Medical Service at the Allen Hospital.
