Biography

Dr. Tamariz is a professor in the Department of Public Health Sciences and the Division of Cardiology at the University of Miami and a staff physician at the Miami VA long COVID clinic. His research interest include use of biomarkers to predict cardiovascular disease, the use of large datasets to predict cardiovascular disease and the treatment of long COVID.
