Biography

Stephen J. Spann, MD, MBA, is a graduate of Baylor College of Medicine. He completed a primary care internal medicine internship at the Baylor Affiliated Hospitals in Houston and a residency in family medicine at Duke University Midical Center in Durham, North Carolina. He currently serves as Professor and Chairman of the Department of Family and Community Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine and Chief of Family Medicine at St. Luke's Episcopal and Ben Taub General hospitals in Houston. His research interests include cancer screening and chronic disease management.
