Biography

Dr. Scherer is an Instructor in Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the Columbia University Medical Center. He is a graduate of the Weill Medical College of Cornell University and completed residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the Columbia University Medical Center. He works as an HIV primary care physician and infectious diseases consultant at the Columbia Presbyterian Comprehensive Health Program. He has a clinical interest in HIV/HCV coinfection.
