Biography

A native of Chicago, Dr. Rosen attended Michigan State University as a National Merit Scholar before attending the University of Michigan Medical School. He was an AOA inductee and graduated cum laude from UM. After studying internal medicine at the University of Alabama, he completed his dermatology residency at Baylor College of Medicine, where he now serves as Professor and Vice-Chair. Dr. Rosen has served as President and Secretary-Treasurer of the Houston Dermatological Society, Vice-President of the Texas Dermatological Society and the American Academy of Dermatology, and Chairman and Secretary-Treasurer of the Dermatology Section, Southern Medical Association. He received the Robert Freeman Memorial Award for Mentorship and Leadership from the Texas Dermatological Society and the Thomas J. Pearson Memorial Award for Education from the AAD. He has published over 325 indexed papers, 26 textbook chapters and 4 medical textbooks.
