Biography

I am an Assistant Professor of Cardiology in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, Texas. I completed my medical school training at the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, India, followed by an Internal Medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center. My clinical interests include the prevention and management of heart failure (HF), and I am the Medical Director of the HF with Preserved Ejection Fraction program at UT Southwestern. I am an independent clinician investigator with multiple NIH- and industry-funded grants to study HF prevention and management.
