Biography
Dr. Nilsson completed his medical training, internship and internal medicine residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland where he graduated AOA, received the Osler Intern Award, and was asked to be chief resident. He completed a fellowship in cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology at Duke University Medical Center, where he stayed on as faculty until 2013 when he joined the University of Georgia/Georgia Regents University Medical Partnership in Athens Georgia. He is currently both the Director of Clinical Research and the Director of Complex Ablations at Athens Regional Medical Center
