Biography
Julieana Nichols, MD, MPH is Associate Professor for the Department of Pediatrics, Section of Academic General Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children’s Hospital. She received her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) at Galveston in 1997 completed residency in pediatrics at UTMB in 2000. She subsequently completed a fellowship in Academic General Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine, during which she received her Master of Public Health. Her public health concentration was in community health and her thesis focus was on parental perceptions of childhood obesity. She is board certified in General Pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Academic Pediatric Association, and Association of Pediatric Program Directors.
