Biography

Dr. McCannon graduated from Weill Cornell Medicine and subsequently completed primary care/internal medicine training at Massachusetts General Hospital, before pursuing pulmonary/critical care training in the Harvard Combined Pulmonary Critical Care Fellowship. She provides ambulatory pulmonary care at MGH Boston and in MGH Chelsea Health Center and provides critical care services in a variety of intensive care units. She served as Director of Critical Care Services at Mount Auburn Hospital during a period of time that spanned the pandemic, proud of creating a deeply collaborative, patient-centered environment. She derives great joy from caring for her patients, as well as her colleagues in her role as Vice Chair for Faculty Development.
