Biography

Dr. Ludwig, a pediatric endocrinologist, is Founding Director of the Optimal Weight for Life (OWL) clinic at Children's Hospital, Boston. He holds the position of Associate Professor in Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Ludwig's research focuses on the effects of dietary composition on hormones, metabolism and body weight regulation. He has published over 80 articles in medical or scientific journals including JAMA, New England Journal of Medicine and Lancet, and has received research grants from the National Institutes of Health and from philanthropic foundations.
