Biography

Sylvia Lucas is Clinical Professor of Neurology, Neurological Surgery and Adjunct in Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Washington Medical Center. She is the holder of the Wadsworth Term Professorship in Headache Research & Practice. She received her doctoral and medical degrees from the University of Washington, completed a neurology residency in New York Hospital – Cornell Medical Center and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. She is the founder of the University of Washington Headache Center and currently specializes in women’s special issue in headache and traumatic brain surgery.
