Biography

Dr. Levey is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and is Director of the Spina Bifida Center at the Kennedy Krieger Institute. He has a longstanding interest in helping youth with disabilities and other chronic conditions make a successful transition to adult-oriented health care as well as adult life. He is on the Executive Committee of the Council on Children with Disabilities of the American Academy of Pediatrics and has been working at the state and national levels on issues surrounding health care transition.
