Biography
Dr. Dana Kotler is a board-certified physiatrist, sports and spine specialist, on faculty at Harvard Medical School. Formerly a dancer, then a Pilates instructor, she is a graduate of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, completed residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago/Northwestern University, and sports medicine fellowship at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital/Harvard Medical School. She founded the Spaulding Cycling Medicine Program, which uses a collaborative evaluation approach to diagnose and manage medical problems in cyclists, and has seen hundreds of cyclists in the monthly “bike clinic.” She has presented widely on the topic of cycling medicine and has published multiple articles on cycling medicine topics including musculoskeletal overuse injury and traumatic brain injury.
