Biography
David M. Kayne, MD, FACP, CDCES, is a partner in the Cedars-Sinai Medical Group in Encino, California. He is also chair of the diabetes committee at Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center, Tarzana, California. Dr. Kayne received his medical degree from the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine, Los Angeles, California, and completed an internal medicine residency and fellowship at UCLA/Wadsworth VA Medical Center. Dr. Kayne is board certified in internal medicine and is a certified diabetes care and education specialist. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. Previously, Dr. Kayne was an assistant clinical professor at University of California, Los Angeles, and president of the Medical Group of Encino. Dr. Kayne has been a principal investigator in more than 60 research projects and has published peer-reviewed articles.
