Biography
Dr. Ishminder Kaur is an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Pediatrics and works in the Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases. She serves as the Medical Director of the Pediatric Antimicrobial Stewardship Program at UCLA Health and works closely with the other members of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program to direct efforts aimed at optimizing infectious diseases diagnostics and antimicrobial use for all patient populations at UCLA Health. Her research interests within antimicrobial stewardship are focused on diagnostic stewardship and utilization of computerized decision support systems to improve antimicrobial use. She also serves as Core Educator for the Scientific Foundations of Medicine (SFM) Infectious Diseases Theme at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
