Biography

Susan Halli Demeter, DNP is a nurse practitioner and assistant professor of medicine at Mayo Clinic Arizona. She works in the Department of Cardiovascular Diseases and assisted in the development of the Heart Health and Performance Program and Lipid Clinic. She is a board-certified clinical lipid specialist and serves on the Southwest Lipid Association Board (currently treasurer) and the American Board of Clinical Lipidology. She is the current Past-President of the Preventive Cardiovascular Nurses Association and serves on the Board of Directors plus several committees. She is actively involved in PCNA’s Arizona Chapter. She has presented at various national and international conferences and has published a variety abstracts, journal articles, and 2 book chapters. She was on the writing committee for the 2023 ACC/AHA Multisociety Guideline for the Management of patients with Chronic Coronary Artery Disease.
