Biography

Ms. Carolyn Grande, CRNP, AOCNP, is an advanced practice nurse with the Abramson Cancer Center at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She received her MSN in Oncology Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. She began her advanced practice career as a nurse practitioner in GI Oncology. She has also worked in the educational sector as an oncology nurse educator for Oncology Education Services, and as Director of Clinical Promotion and Education at Ogilvy, CommonHealth Specialty Markets. She is chair of the education committee for the Advanced Practitioner Society for Hematology and Oncology (APSHO), the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the Bucks-Montgomery Chapter of the Oncology Nursing Society. She has been published in various scientific journals, including Journal of the Advanced Practitioner in Oncology and the Clinical Journal of Oncology Nursing as well as Oncology Nursing Advisor: A Comprehensive Guide to Clinical Practice.
