Biography

Stuart Goldstein, MD, focuses his main research interest on dialysis therapies for children with chronic and acute kidney disease. He is also the Principal Investigator at Texas Children's Hospital for the NIH funded project entitled the "Randomized Intervention for Vesico-Ureteral Reflux" (RIVUR) trial. RIVUR is the first North American multi-center study to assess outcomes in infants and children with Grade I-IV VUR randomized to either antibiotic prophylaxis or placebo.
