Biography

Dr. Aitala Giron is a Staff Psychiatrist in the PTSD Division of the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center. She is Voluntary Faculty at the University of Miami - Department of Psychiatry. She has been active teaching and supervising Medical Students and Residents. Her teaching and clinical interest includes Women’s Mental Health Issues and Trauma Focus Treatment including Sexual Trauma and Culturally Competent Treatment Options.
