Biography

Dr. Jessica Marie Fiueroa-Valdes was born in Miami, Florida, and attended the University of Miami Leonard Miller School of Medicine and the JMH/UM Internal Medicine Residency Program. There, she completed a chief residency in quality and patient safety at the Miami VA Medical Center, after which she was employed at the medical center as a hospitalist and currently as a primary care physician and associate program director for the JMH/UM Internal Medicine Residency Program. Her interests include resident medical education, curriculum development, and quality improvement.
