Biography

Dr Eisdorfer is a clinical psychologist and medical educator. He earned his doctoral degree from the Rutgers University Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology and completed his predoctoral internship at the Central Texas Veterans Health Care System in Austin. He went on to complete postdoctoral training in Primary Care Psychology and Medical Education at UMass Chan Medical School in the Department of Family Medicine. He currently serves as the Director of Behavioral Science for the Greenfield Family Medicine Residency program and teaches introductory clinical and patient-centered communication skills to first-year medical students at UMass. His clinical and research interests include Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness- and acceptance-based behavior therapy, dissemination and implementation of evidence-based mental health treatments, and integrated behavioral health in primary care.
