Biography

Dr. Lorenzo R. Deveza is an orthopaedic spine surgeon specializing in the management of spinal disorders, from common conditions such as degenerative disc disease to complex deformities and trauma. He completed his medical training at Stanford University, followed by dual fellowship training in spine surgery and musculoskeletal oncology at New York University and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Deveza is dedicated to enhancing patient care through evidence-based practice and close collaboration with primary care providers. He frequently lectures on spine-related topics, focusing on practical approaches to diagnosis and management of low back pain, as well as when to refer patients for specialist evaluation. His goal is to empower PCPs with the knowledge and tools to effectively manage spinal conditions in their practice.
