Biography

Dr. Carrasco is a pulmonary and critical care medicine physician and an assistant professor at Baylor College of Medicine with a passion for advancing her field of practice. Her clinical interests include the management of patients with complex pulmonary conditions such as sarcoidosis, interstitial lung disease, and COPD. In the academic realm, Dr. Carrasco mentors medical students, residents, and fellows, fostering the next generation of healthcare professionals. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes evidence based medicine, compassionate care, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Dr. Carrasco is actively involved in the BCM pulmonary and critical care fellowship curriculum committee. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling with her family.
