Dr. Carlson, Deputy Director of the Harvard Medical School Course Development Committee, is a general internist and Director of Women's Health Associates at Massachusetts General Hospital. She is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Deputy Director of the Harvard Medical School Center of Excellence in Women's Health, and an Associate Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
