Biography

Anna Briker, MD is originally from outside of Philadelphia, where she graduated from Villanova University with a major in biochemistry and minors in Spanish and humanities. She then moved to Chicago where she earned her MD at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. In 2024 she completed her residency in Internal Medicine at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University, where she was the co-leader of the General Internal Medicine (GIM) interest group and earned the Jay F. Blunck award for her commitment to GIM. She is in her first year as an attending physician at Northwestern, where she splits her time between the academic primary care practice and the transitional care clinic (TCC), which serves uninsured and underinsured patients recently discharged from the hospital.
