Biography

Jeffrey T. Bates, MD, FACP, FHM is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine and the Michael E. DeBakey VAMC, both in Houston, Texas. He is chief of the medicine consult services, co-director of the vascular medicine clinics, and site director for the graduate medical programs at the VA hospital. He works as a hospitalist at the VA hospital and serves on the national VA hospitalist field advisory board. He also holds subspecialty certifications in both vascular medicine and clinical hypertension.
