Biography

Dr. Andrew Albert is a practicing Board Certified Gastroenterologist and Chief of Digestive Health at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. He is the recipient of the American Cancer Society’s “80% by 2018” National Achievement Award; honored for his work in colon cancer screening and a member of the National Colorectal Cancer Round Table: Hospital and Health System Advisory Committee. Dr. Albert attended Brandeis University and received his Medical and Masters in Public Health Degrees at the George Washington University Medical Center. He became Chief Resident at Boston University, and completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology & Hepatology at Loyola University Medical Center. Dr. Albert has also completed advanced training at the University of Chicago.
