Overview
People are traveling much more frequently at far greater distances than in the past. Furthermore, they are living in more densely populated areas and encroaching on wilderness areas so that they are coming into closer contact with wild animals. Consequently, the potential for individuals to contract new emerging infectious diseases is greater and the possibility to spread rapidly and cause global epidemics is a major concern.

- Recognize the clinical presentation of Mpox infection and how to diagnose and treat it
