Biography

Joshua H. Yang, MD, is chief of the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in Orlando, FL, where he is also an attending physician. In addition, he is clinical assistant professor of pediatric endocrinology at the Florida State University College of Medicine in Orlando and assistant professor of pediatrics at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine, also located in Orlando. Upon earning his doctor of medicine degree from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in Lubbock, TX, he completed his internship and residency in pediatrics at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. He then completed a fellowship in pediatric endocrinology at UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles, CA. Dr Yang is currently principal investigator on 2 prospective, noninterventional studies of treatment of hormone growth deficiency with lonapegsomatropin: one is a long-term post-authorization safety and one is a study of the drug’s safety and long-term effectiveness. He is also principal investigator for a multicountry, noninterventional, prospective study of patients with human growth hormone treatments under routine clinical care. He is a member of the Endocrine Society and the Pediatric Endocrine Society.
