Biography

Dr. Bert Vargas is a sports neurologist who practiced as a PCP before joining the med affairs team at Eli Lilly & Company. Dr. Vargas completed his undergraduate and medical school education at the University of Arizona. He then served for four years as a United States Air Force flight surgeon after which he completed a residency in neurology at New York University. Dr. Vargas has continued his passion for patients by fostering comprehensive conversations that lead to positive treatment outcomes. In his free time, Dr. Vargas serves as a Neurotrauma Consultant for the INDYCAR series.
