Biography

Dr. Paul Tomasic is a Cardiovascular, Renal & Metabolic disease Senior Field Physician with AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals. Prior to joining AstraZeneca in 2018 he practiced clinical endocrinology in Las Vegas, Nevada. He received his medical doctorate from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Naval Hospital, San Diego, and his fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, & Metabolism at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda. Dr. Tomasic is ABIM Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Endocrinology. He is a Fellow of both the American College of Physicians and the American College of Endocrinology. Past faculty appointments include Assistant Professor of Medicine with the Uniformed Services University and Clinical Faculty Supervisor with Touro University in Henderson, Nevada. He is a Past President of the Nevada Chapter of AACE and he served as a founding board member of the Nevada Clinical Endocrinologists Association.
