Biography

Dr. Kirit Tolia M.D. is Medical Director of the Joslin Diabetes Center and Chief of the Section of Endocrinology at Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan and Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. Dr. Tolia attended the Medical College of Calcutta, completed a residency program at Mt. Carmel Mercy Hospital in Detroit, Michigan and received postgraduate training in endocrinology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Tolia is board certified in the areas of internal medicine and endocrinology and metabolism. Dr. Tolia is also Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a Fellow of the American College of Clinical Endocrinologists.
