Biography

DDr. Somers is the Director of Clinical Services for the Division of Nephrology at Children’s Hospital Boston. He also serves as the Director of the James Gamble Renal Service that oversees the care of children with acute general renal problems, children with chronic kidney disease, and children with end stage renal disease requiring dialysis and transplantation who are hospitalized at Children’s Hospital.
