Biography

Dr. Liza Smirnoff is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurology board certified in both neurology and headache medicine, at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine. She treats patients with a variety of headache conditions including migraine, cluster headache and tension headache. Dr. Smirnoff has a special focus on both women’s health and refractory headaches, and is currently the co-chair of the Refractory headache group within the American Headache Society. For her work in infertility and migraine she has received a fellowship from the NeuroNext program to further the understanding of the relationship between sex hormones and migraine.
