Biography

E. Timothy Shapiro M.D. is a Voluntary Clinical Assistant Professor at the Diabetes Research Institute and Department of Medicine University of Miami School of Medicine. Dr. Shapiro attended the University of Witwatersrand Medical School, Johannesburg, South Africa, completed a residency program at Johannesburg General Hospital and University of Witwatersrand Medical School and received postgraduate training in Endocrinology at the Department of Medicine, Section of Endocrinology University of Chicago. Dr. Shapiro is board certified in the areas of Endocrinology and Metabolism, Internal Medicine and Lipidology.
