Biography

Dr. Scott is a staff forensic psychiatrist at Michigan’s Center for Forensic Psychiatry, a state hospital facility for patients who require emergency civil commitment or who are adjudicated Incompetent to Stand Trial or Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity (NGRI). In addition to providing treatment, he also performs criminal forensic psychiatric evaluations for various jurisdictions around the state. Dr. Scott completed residency training in psychiatry at the University of Michigan and completed a fellowship in forensic psychiatry at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
