Biography

I am Associate Professor and Director of Pediatric Diabetes program at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. I did my residency in Pediatrics and fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami. My primary research interests have focused on clinical, behavioral, and psychosocial factors related to the medical management of type 1 and type 2 diabetes in children and youth. I have also participated in research in other areas of endocrinology including pseudohypoparathyroidism, growth, and thyroid disorders.
