Biography

Scott Roberts is an Assistant Professor in Infectious Diseases at the Yale School of Medicine where he cares for patients admitted to the hospital with infectious disease related problems. He also serves as the Associate Medical Director for Infection Prevention at Yale New Haven Hospital, where he focuses on preventing healthcare-associated infections that patients develop while receiving care. As a researcher, he is focused on preventing device-related infections, respiratory viral infections including COVID-19, and infections in specific patient populations such as immunocompromised patients. Scott completed his medical school at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY, his internal medicine residency at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and his infectious diseases training at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago IL.
