Biography

Dr. Lekha M. Rao studied at Johns Hopkins and Drexel University before coming to UCLA for pediatric neurology and pediatric epilepsy training. Her research interests include neonatal seizures, neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy, and epileptogenesis. Her clinical practice not only encompasses new onset and refractory epilepsy, but also refractory headache, tic disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders.
