Biography
Dr. Rod Passman is a cardiac electrophysiologist at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. He serves as the Jules J. Reingold Professor of Electrophysiology, Professor of Medicine (cardiology) and Preventive Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. After earning his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Dr. Passman completed his training in Internal Medicine at Albert Einstein. He then went on to train in cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology at University of Pennsylvania where he also received his Masters in Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics. Dr. Passman is currently the Director of the Northwestern University Center for Arrhythmia Research and is the Principal Investigator of Northwestern's Strategically Focused Research Network Grant from the American Heart Association and the REACTAF trial funded by the National Institute of Health. His clinical and research interests are focused on the detection and treatment of atrial fibrillation, and he has published over 250 scientific papers and lectured throughout the world on these and other related topics.
