Biography

Dr. Okelo is a pediatric pulmonologist by training. His areas of interest include providing clinical care for asthma patients. He has had an asthma clinic for the past 13 years, where they focus on use of standardized assessments of asthma control, inhaler technique and medication adherence. His research interests are focused on developing clinical tools and strategies for health care providers to assess and treat asthma in children. Dr. Okelo has published an asthma control questionnaire for use in children of all ages, and for both English and Spanish speaking populations.
