Biography

Dr. Sanjay Mediwala is a clinician-educator who serves as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, the Program Director for the BCM Endocrine Fellowship Program, and the Course Director for the Baylor 2nd year medical school Endocrine course. Dr. Mediwala is focused on teaching Endocrinology across multiple levels of learners. He provides clinical services at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center as an inpatient attending on the General Medicine and Endocrine Consult service and in the outpatient Endocrine, Diabetes and Endocrine-Surgery clinics. He is a co-investigator on research trials evaluating the effect of lifestyle intervention on bone strength in older adults.
