Biography

My research focuses on legal and ethical issues in genomics, with a particular emphasis on practices and perspectives related to genomic data sharing and the return of genetic research results, direct ethical issues in human microbiome research, and ethical and policy issues related to the clinical integration of new genomic technologies and direct-to-consumer genetic testing. My research is funded by the NIH-NHGRI and the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas.
