Biography

Dr. Materson is a tenured professor of medicine at the University of Miami. He is a nephrologist who is certified as a specialist in clinical hypertension. Most of his research has been on clinical trials and other studies related to hypertension and its treatment. He recently served on the Executive Committee of JNC-7.
